Landscape Gardner

About the Role

FBC is nestled into the foothills on a 21-acre campus with 2 multi-story buildings. We have big plans for how God can use our campus to serve our community, help grow FBC, and honor Him with its beauty.

This role serves on our Facilities Team and actively supports our summer landscaping needs. This includes sprinkler repair and water scheduling for landscaped areas, mowing, tree and shrub pruning, flower bed aesthetics including deadheading flowers, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, mulching/adding soil and inspecting for disease.

We also have several improvement projects planned for this summer including planting new shrubs and small trees, rock scaping and other outdoor aesthetics. This position may also assist with other outdoor projects including pressure washing sidewalks and other campus facility projects.

This is a temporary, part-time position, approximately 20 hours a week, available immediately through fall. This individual needs to be able to stand, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in our Colorado climate. They should be able to work independently with excellent time management skills and are 17 years of age or older. Ideal schedule would be 3-4 days a week. Fridays & Saturdays needed.
