Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP): Summer Fellowship
Through the Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP), Colorado College offers students paid, full-time, summer fellowships with nonprofit partner organizations in the state of Colorado. CC PIFP Fellows work for progressive organizations in cities with built-in cohorts of PIFP peers and CC alumni mentors. During their summer fellowships, they’ll complete projects that target growth and change in society while securing a foot in the nonprofit door. Start and end dates are scheduled by the organization for each fellowship individually. The decisions regarding flexibility lies strictly with the based around the needs of their specific fellowship.
Through the PIFP Summer Fellowship you can expect:

- To get your foot in the nonprofit door and make professional contacts for life
Individual job descriptions will be posted on the PIFP website and in Handshake between December - January. You will have the opportunity to indicate interest in specific fellowships offered by partner organizations. An application is required for EACH fellowship of interest via Handshake. A separate PIFP interest, work authorization, & commitment form must be submitted directly to PIFP to complete your application.
