Outdoor and Multi-Generational Ministries Fellow - January 2023 Start
The Outdoor and Multi-Generational Ministries Fellow will help implement the Multi-Generational team’s current programs from beginning to end, from event development to debriefing. He or she will learn how each program is designed to contribute to the overall objectives of JAARS and play a key role in fine-tuning the programs for maximum effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
- Help develop consistent registration and follow-up processes for events and programs, including CrossVenture, Brigade Air, and Race for Possible (see JAARS website for more details on these events)
- Work with mission teams that come to JAARS for service projects
- Draft a marketing plan for events and implement it
- Engage with JAARS constituents through social media management
- Assist with program development as it relates to content, activities, scheduling, and analytics
- Other job-related duties as assigned by your manager

- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Being able to lift up to 20lbs
- Being able to be outdoors for extended periods of time
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Fellows Program Requirements
- Value global ministry
- At least 18 years old
- Learner attitude
- Collaborative
Preferred
- Majors include Youth Ministries, Recreational Studies, Event Planning/Management, Intercultural Studies, and Education
- Experience leading groups of various ages in activities, lessons, devotions, or debriefs
