Outdoor Services Seasonal Worker I (Multiple Positions)
Salary 2023:
$14.00/hr First summer
$14.50/hr Rate for returning seasonal employees
Positions will start mid to late May through mid to late August
Hours: 7:00-3:30 M-F with some flexibility for part-time options
Benefits include: PERA retirement, paid time off

Summary:
Maintain PSD’s playgrounds, athletic fields, lawn and grass areas and parking lots.
Job Tasks:
- Mow and trim grass/lawns/fields
- Rake and remove leaves
- Perform light pruning
- Prepare and maintain athletic fields and tracks
- Provide minor sprinkler and fence repair
- Plow and remove snow as needed
- Weekend work as needed
- Perform other job related duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Licenses required:
- No prior skilled trades experience is required
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Must be able to safely lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule through August
- Driver's license preferred, some positions may require a driver's license and a motor vehicle report, and you may be asked to bring a MVR report upon interview.
