Administrative Assistant with the International Court of Arbitration, New York City.

As a leading international arbitral institution, the International Court of Arbitration® of the International Chamber of Commerce® (“International Court of Arbitration”) attracts a growing caseload worldwide. Specialized teams with knowledge and experience of the major legal and cultural traditions administer the cases. Each team is headed by a Counsel and assisted by three Deputy Counsel and three assistants.

SICANA, Inc. provides ICC Arbitration and other ICC dispute resolution services in North America and is currently recruiting an Assistant for its case management team based in New York City.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and support tasks, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively and work autonomously with initiative. The role involves administrative tasks, including preparing Court documents and notifications, filing, drafting letters, and responding to different queries by email and phone; managing the database for the Court; tracking payment to arbitrators and reimbursement of advance on costs; acknowledging receipt of credits and issuing reminders for payments; handling daily mail, and performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications    
·        BA (Required)
·        Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
·        Knowledge of French or Spanish as a second language is desirable.
·        Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Teams.
·        Demonstrated strong interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills.
·        Relevant experience in a legal environment is helpful.
·        Interest in international commercial arbitration.

Location: The position is based in New York City, USA.
Starting date: As soon as possible
Department: SICANA – Case Management Team.
Contract type: Full-Time
