SEH is currently searching for a talented Graduate Civil Engineer area to join our team in, St. Paul, Minnesota!

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting members of our Civil Engineering teams.
  • Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems and site improvements.
  • Use of Microsoft Excel for development of project bid item tables, quantities and cost opinions.
  • Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems.
  • The position may serve as a Field Engineer or assist survey crews during construction of various projects.
  • Manage work activities and team responsibilities and report to supervisor and team members on status of project tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience in the Civil Engineering field
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or training with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Previous experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous Civil Engineering or construction experience including internships.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering plans and topographic maps.
