The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an E-4B SIL System Associate Engineer.  System Engineering with an emphasis on Mechanical Engineering, proficient experience in CATIA and Enovia, MIL-STD-461 and DO-160 Evaluation. Experience in developing specifications and supplier statements of work. Experience in aircraft mission equipment modifications, installations, and equipment repair actions. This Level 2 position is located in Oklahoma City.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations options.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES     

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Provide System Engineering support in the development and interpretations of requirements for avionics and mission equipment proposed and installed on the E-4B Aircraft.
• Requires the ability to develop engineering in CATIA and manage engineering in Enovia.
• Requires the ability to manage the release of Engineering in a configuration management system.
• Requires the ability to interface with component level technicians and disposition discrepancies discovered during troubleshooting activities.
• Will be the mechanical engineering focal for the engineering team

Security Clearance / Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Working knowledge and experience in CATIA and Enovia
• Ability to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Secret Clearance
• Experience at drafting Source Control Drawings (SCD)
• Experience with interpreting RTCA DO-160G and MIL-STD 810G
• Experience at dispositioning engineering discrepancies.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Basic relocation is available for internal candidates, based on candidate eligibility.
